This year the 7th New-Aquitaine / Basque Country / Navarra Biohealth Industries Meeting will take place in Bilbao, and unlike last year’s edition, in person.
We will be joined at the opening by Arantxa Tapia, Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government; Mikel Irujo, Minister of Economic and Business Development of the Government of Navarra; and Françoise Jeanson, the Vice-President for Health Silver Economy at the Regional Council of New Aquitaine.
The objective of the Meetings is to promote cross-border projects in collaboration between industrialists and researchers from public and private entities in the health sector of the three territories. The growing participation in these meetings is the best testimony to the need for Euroregional collaboration.
The meetings are aimed at entrepreneurs, researchers, academics and, in short, at all those involved in innovation in the health sector in the Basque Country, New Aquitaine and Navarre.
The day will feature some thirty “flash” presentations by companies. As in previous editions, there will also be presentations of successful cases of cross-border collaborations and a round table discussion on relevant aspects of the sector in the Euroregion. In addition, this year three Open Innovation challenges will be launched.
