The Basque technology center Tekniker will lead the Medical and Healthcare Robotics Working Group of the Spanish platform HispaRob, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain, from 2023. This group seeks to promote person-centered robotic technologies to improve the quality of life of patients and healthcare professionals. With the support of universities, companies and other players in the sector, the aim is to position Spain as a leader in the development of these technologies, contributing to rehabilitation, individual autonomy and the optimization of medical processes. Tekniker, with its experience in mechatronics and development of medical devices, leads the initiative, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge transfer to the socio-health business environment.
