We invite you to the open event organized by the Basque Health Cluster on April 28th. The event opens at 09:30 am, with the presentation of the “Expert course in regulatory by the BHC” that will start from May 6th.
This course is designed to meet the needs of the medical device sector, which will be discussed during the event. The new European (EU) Regulations – Medical Devices Regulation 2017/745 (MDR) and In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Regulation 2017/746 (IVDR) – entail multiple changes and difficulties for the manufacturing companies of this type of products. Thus, the course will aim to review the changes in both regulations and provide attendees with the knowledge, skills and competencies to address the regulatory framework throughout the entire life cycle of these products.
On the other hand, within the framework of Bio-health, we will talk about the influence of medical devices at European and Euskadi level and their importance. We will show the evolution of the growth in the production of medical devices at industrial level over the last few years and the prospects for the future.
Finally, to close the day we will have a question-and-answer session.
