With more than 7 years behind it, Gogoa Mobility Robots was born with the intention of placing the latest technological innovation in the field of rehabilitation. The Basque group designs and manufactures lightweight exoskeletons for robotic neuro-rehabilitation. Being an area still to be explored in Spain, most of the equipment comes from abroad, mainly from the United States and Japan.
After years of effort, in 2018 they became the first European company to obtain CE marking for an exoskeleton. The group currently has two clinics (one in Bilbao and the other in Urretxu) where they provide rehabilitation using this innovative technology with great success, and they are looking for the necessary funding to open up to 20 more in different parts of Europe.
In addition to exoskeletons for rehabilitation, they have a line for industry consisting of exoskeletons that provide arm and lumbar support when you have to handle loads. They also have a low-cost range of elastomers with intelligent materials.
