A strategic approach in favour of cross-border cooperation in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry.
The partnership started back in 2013, focusing mainly on the organisation of Meetings for the Biohealth Industries of New Aquitaine, Basque Country, and Navarre (RNAEN). Last Thursday, 12 May 2022, the French pharmaceutical industrial cluster Polepharma-GIPSO and the Basque Health Cluster formalised their mutual commitment by signing an agreement at the Euroregion’s facilities (New Aquitaine, Basque Country, and Navarre) in the city of Hendaye.
By doing so, Mikel Álvarez Yeregui (President of the Basque Health Cluster ) and Fabien Riolet (General Director of Polepharma GIPSO) reaffirmed their desire to promote exchanges and cooperation between their respective members.
This cross-border alliance will certainly serve to support industrial pharmaceutical relocation and strengthen European sovereignty in the health care sector.
