Today, 23 March, Maria Pascual de Zulueta, director of the Basque Health Cluster, and Mikaela Olaizola, the associaton’s project manager, visited BIC Gipuzkoa, located in the Miramón Technology Park, to present the cluster to the companies housed there.
We want to thank both Esther Paguey and Ainhoa Aizpuru for all the help with the planning of the event. And also all the people who found the time to attend it.
After more than 10 years of experience and with more than 90 members, the cluster is a meeting point for companies, public bodies and agents of the Basque sciences, technology and innovation network. Basque Health Cluster is a dynamic organisation that continues to incorporate valuable members into the Basque Bio-Health ecosystem. Proof of this is the recent entry of BIOEF as an honorary member. Or the three new members: Ortovas, Systemilec Wealth and Trak, which will soon have a profile on our website.
In recent years, at the same time as the culster has grown in membership, it has updated its image by creating a profile on different social networks(LinkedIn and YouTube) as a well as a total renovation of the website.
Currently, members can advertise their achievements and products on our website and LinkedIn as well as have a space for their job offers. Likewise, the cluster strives to train and attract talent through courses such as the regulatory expert course that will start next month and a job bank exclusively for members. Not forgetting the organisation of events to activate the sector, such as the dynamisation of projects. We also participate in and organise international and national fairs such as Biospain and the New-Aquitaine, Basque Country and Navarre meetings.
In this event, which lasted approximately 2 hours, the attending companies had the opportunity to understand the Basque ecosystem of biosciences and health. There was also the opportunity to learn about the process of association and the benifts that this entails. After a question and answer session, the attendees had the opportunity to meet the cluster’s employees in person in a relaxed atmosphere.
A similar event is going to be at BIC Bizkaia on 1st of April. On this occasion, Maria will be accompained by Goizalde Martin and is expected to start at aroung 12:30. Registration is required to attend.
In the near future we will organise a third one at BIC Araba.
If you are unable to attend, you can contact us at info@basquehealthcluster.org or though the “contact form” or “become a member” on our website which can be found below and in the corresponding sections.
