Panel Health has been one of the 10 companies selected for the Impact Business Bootcamp, which is the first step of the acceleration process of Ship2B Foundation. This Bootcamp will take place from 3 to 7 October, with part of the day in person and the other part online.Subsequently, there will be a new selection process, where they will choose which startups will access the full acceleration and the subsequent graduation committee.
Through this programme, framed in the “Ship2B Health & Care” section, DKV Seguros, Cofares, Fundación Once, BStartup and Fundación Ship2B select the best innovative and technology-based startups in the field of health and care that develop solutions to improve the quality of life of people with chronic diseases, elderly people and people with disabilities.
During the programme, they offer partnerships with large companies and organisations in the ecosystem, mentoring through a network of top-level experts, support to maximise the impact on the startup’s mission, and a Demo Day where they will facilitate meetings with investors, companies and other agents of interest.
The panel of mentors includes recognised institutions such as the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research, Invivo Capital, the Hospital Clinic, the Asociación Salud Digital and IESE, among others.
Panel Health
Panel Health is a healthcare startup created in 2020, whose objective is to activate the voice of patients. To do this, we validate questionnaires conducted by ethnographers in healthcare environments, and through the use of natural language processing, we automate conversations and obtain the relevant nuances to obtain real-world evidence that gives us information about the perceived experience of patients. Through this experience analysis, we are able to monitor and suggest, and if desired, implement experience improvements across the different actors in the healthcare ecosystem.
In Panel Health’s journey, we participate in various national and international forums, such as the Barcelona Health Hub or the Reactor Accelerator, promoted by General Electric. We are also part of several clusters and interest groups that want to strengthen the patient experience, and together with the Hospital 12 de Octubre and sponsored by Novartis, we have generated the PREMs Guide, whose mission is to report on the state of the art of Patient Experience Measurement, as well as to provide structured guidelines for its collection and analysis. In turn, we work with Hospital 12 de Octubre and Hospital Universitario de Navarra. Moreover, we are embarking on a MedTech project with Hospital Biocruces. Although the most important projects are in the field of hospitals, the technology and knowledge developed can also be extended to the pharmaceutical and health insurance fields.
