DESCRIPTION
Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience (ACHUCARRO) is a research center BERC (Basque Excellence Research Centre) promoted by the Basque Government (Department of Education). ACHUCARRO’s mission is to contribute to the development of an economically and socially sustainable Society. To this end, we develop research of international relevance in the scientific field of neurobiology, with a specialization in the interactions that occur between neuron and glial cells, both in the healthy and diseased brain, as well as in aging.
