The New Aquitaine-Basque Health Country-Navarre bio-health industry meetings will take place on 10th and 11th October at the BAT Tower (Bilbao).
The objective of the Meetings is to promote cross-border projects in collaboration between industrialists and researchers from public and private entities in the health sector of the three territories. The growing participation in these meetings is the best testimony to the need for Euroregional collaboration.
This year, we will be joined by Arantxa Tapia, Regional Minister for Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government; Mikel Irujo, Regional Minister for Economic and Business Development of the Government of Navarre; and Françoise Jeanson, Vice-President for Health Silver Economy at the Regional Council of New Aquitaine and Ainara Basurko, Regional Deputy for Economic Promotion of Bizkaia.
The day will feature some thirty “flash” presentations by companies. As in previous editions, there will also be presentations of successful cases of cross-border collaborations and a round table discussion on relevant aspects of the sector in the Euroregion. In addition, this year three Open Innovation challenges will be launched.
